Coffeeville is a town in and one of two county seats of Yalobusha County, Mississippi, United States. The population was 905 at the 2010 census. It is named after John Coffee[4] (1772 – 1833), a planter and military leader. The minor American Civil War Battle of Coffeeville took place near here in December 1862.

You are going to hear the experience of three students in this interview. These students showed incredible bravery and persistence by continuing a path that most others had moved on from. These three women detail the ways in which it influenced their younger selves and their adult lives, and they also provide some words of advice to those who would come after them.
